不按牌理出牌的超人(威爾史密斯 飾)惹了一堆麻煩後，成為市民心中頭痛的棘手人物。為了重拾民心，超人決定找一位新公關來處理危機，改善自己的公眾形象 。可沒想到的是，這位公關的老婆瑪莉(莎莉賽隆 飾)竟是個隱姓埋名的女超人！就在兩人之間擦出奇妙火花之際，超人意識到自己的超能力竟然逐漸衰落，到底他該如何與瑪莉聯手，共同對抗一群即將出獄報復他的壞蛋？
